Overview
It is home to 80 residents who may require residential and or nursing care and those with memory problems (Alzheimers, dementia).
The home benefits from 7 large communal areas which are decorated to a high standard. All bedrooms have en-suite toilets and washing facilities. Surrounding the building we have spacious garden areas that are well planted with shrubs and flowers and has many seating areas that can be used by the residents all year round.
Bluebell Place has strong links with the local community and is well known for it's many activities.

Mihaela Munteanu
Hi, my name is Ella, and I am the Manager of Bluebell Care Home.
I have worked in the care sector since I trained as a Registered Nurse in 2003. I am looking forward to bringing all my knowledge, experience and passion to my role. I love working for DMP Healthcare and leading the team at Bluebell in the care and support of residents to provide a quality service that meets their individual needs. I pride myself in making the right choices as a nurse and manager, always acting in the best interests of those I am caring for; helping staff to deliver positive outcomes for residents by ensuring they have the skills to work autonomously.
We always strive to make life at our home as happy and homely as possible.

Daily Life
We will encourage your loved one to keep active and independent doing activities that are meaningful to them.
When people are engaged in activities and experiences that relate to their interests and hobbies, they are happier and more fulfilled – in that way, we’re all the same.
Among our most popular activities are music therapy, movie afternoons and visits from professional entertainers. We organise themed evenings or afternoon teas on special occasions, and there are regular outings for pub lunches or shopping trips. We always make sure that everyone who wants to do an activity, can. We do regular one-to-one activities with residents.
We also love welcoming members of the local community to Bluebell – the visits from local schoolchildren are always a highlight, particularly at Christmas when they come to sing carols or stage their nativity play.
